# Privacy Policy

A plain description of what this website collects and what it does not. Last updated August 2026.

## What This Site Collects

This website has one place where you can enter information about yourself: the contact form on the contact page. If you never use that form, this site does not ask you for anything and does not build a record of your visit beyond the ordinary server logs that any website produces.

When you submit the contact form, the fields you filled in are transmitted to the intake system this practice uses to receive and respond to inquiries. Those fields are your name, your email address, your phone number if you provide one, the state you selected, and whatever you write in the message box. The form also carries a hidden field used to filter automated spam submissions. Nothing else about you is attached.

## The Contact Form Is Not a Secure Channel

The form itself says this, and it is worth repeating here. Email and web forms are not a protected way to send health information. Please do not use the contact form to describe your symptoms, your diagnoses, your medications, or the details of what happened to you. A sentence such as "I would like to ask about ART for something that happened a few years ago" is plenty for a first message.

This website is not a patient portal and does not claim to be one. Once you become a client, records and clinical communication are handled inside the practice under the privacy practices described in the intake paperwork, which is a separate document from this website policy.

## What This Site Does Not Do

- No analytics product, no visitor tracking pixels, and no session recording.
- No advertising networks, no retargeting, and no data sold or rented to anyone.
- No newsletter list, and no marketing email sent to people who use the contact form.
- No cookies set by this site for tracking or profiling.
- No social media login and no third-party comment or chat widget.

The site is served by a hosting provider, and like every host it keeps routine technical logs such as IP addresses and request times for security and reliability. Those logs are a byproduct of putting a website on the internet, not a profile of you.

## How Long a Message Is Kept, and Your Choices

An inquiry that does not turn into care is kept only as long as it is useful for responding to you, and then it is deleted. If you would like your inquiry removed sooner, write and ask and it will be removed. If you become a client, your clinical record is governed by state law and by professional recordkeeping requirements rather than by this page.

This practice serves adults in Kentucky and Ohio by secure video. If you have a question about this policy, use the contact page and ask.

This is not a crisis service.

If you are in crisis, please call or text 988, call 911, or go to your nearest emergency room. ART is not appropriate during active psychosis or acute crisis. Individual outcomes vary.

This practice is not a crisis or emergency service, and messages are not monitored around the clock. If you are in immediate danger, experiencing a mental health emergency, or having thoughts of ending your life with intent or a plan, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), call 911, or go to your nearest emergency room for an assessment. Veterans can press 1 after dialing 988.

Contacting this practice does not establish a client relationship. Individual outcomes vary. Nothing on this site guarantees a specific clinical result.
