Reclaim Trauma Therapy

Is ART Right for Me?

Deciding, without being sold to.

A straight assessment of when this approach fits, when it does not, and what to ask me before you commit to anything.

Where You Might Be

This is likely a good fit if

  • Something specific still affects how you live
  • You understand your history and it has not changed the symptoms
  • You want defined goals rather than open-ended support
  • You are stable day to day and ready to participate actively
  • Talk therapy has helped and then plateaued

Worth a conversation first if

  • You are not sure what your target would be
  • You have tried several approaches and are wary of another
  • You are unsure whether what happened "counts"
  • You are managing a lot right now and unsure about timing

Not the right step yet if

  • You are in crisis or need stabilization first
  • You are experiencing active psychosis
  • You are having thoughts of ending your life with intent or a plan
  • You need a higher level of care than outpatient telehealth
If the third column describes where you are right now, please text or call 988, call 911, or go to your nearest emergency room for an assessment. That is the right next step, and this practice will still be here afterwards.

The Questions I Get Asked Most

Bring These to the Consultation

Ask me whether you would be a good fit, and expect a real answer rather than a yes. Ask what I would suggest we target first. Ask what might lead me to recommend something other than ART.

The consultation is fifteen minutes, free, and carries no obligation to book. If the timing is wrong, that is a legitimate answer and I will not push against it.

Start with a free fifteen-minute consultation.

A free, confidential fifteen-minute conversation. Ask whatever you want about ART and about how I work. There is no obligation to book anything afterwards, and no pressure if you decide the timing is not right.
