A Method With a Defined Shape
ART is a directive protocol. That means I am steering, and there is a sequence. We choose a target. You hold it while I guide sets of smooth horizontal eye movements. The bodily part of the reaction is addressed first, because that is what makes a memory feel live rather than remembered.
After that we work with the picture. You are the one who decides what replaces it, and the factual account of what happened is left intact. People often describe the memory afterward as still there and no longer loud.
Talking through the details is optional. I need to know what we are targeting and how it shifts, not the transcript.
Who Books It in Columbus
Columbus skews young and it skews toward large institutions: state agencies, a very large university, insurers, hospitals, tech and logistics employers. What that adds up to in my consultation calls is a lot of adults in their late twenties and thirties who are, on paper, doing well, and who are managing something from before that never got addressed because there was never a gap in the calendar.
Graduate students and early-career professionals ask about ART specifically. They tend to arrive having read about it, wanting to know what the eye movements are for and whether the effect is anything more than relaxation. Those are good questions and I answer them plainly rather than overselling anything.
Sessions are 60 minutes, or up to three hours as an intensive when a single long block is easier to arrange than a weekly commitment. I never predict how many sessions anything will take.
There Is No Columbus Office
Not on High Street, not in Easton, not anywhere in Franklin County. This is telehealth only, adults only, private pay. You need a private room, a steady device, and to be physically in Ohio or Kentucky during the session.
