A lot of the Columbus adults I speak with hold demanding roles and have never missed a deadline over any of this. The cost shows up privately. Sleep that arrives late and breaks early. Irritability that lands on the people who did nothing. A body that is already at a seven before the day starts.
Post-traumatic stress is not a measure of how much you can carry. It is a memory that was never filed as past, and it responds to being worked on rather than to being outperformed.
What People Here Are Carrying
Assault, including things that happened on or near a campus and were reported to no one. Sudden loss. A collision on 270 or 71. A pregnancy or delivery that went sideways. Childhood material from a household somewhere else in the state, surfacing now that there is enough stability for it to surface.
There is also the group who moved here for the job, left the support network behind, and discovered that a quiet apartment in a new city is where the old thing finally gets a hearing. That is a common story and not a sign anything is wrong with you.
How We Work
We pick one target instead of surveying everything. Within the session, eye movements while you hold the memory bring the physical intensity down, and then you change the image itself. We check where you are before closing so the hour does not end with something pried open.
Sixty-minute sessions, or intensives up to three hours. You are never required to recount details out loud. Adults only, private pay, and I will tell you honestly if a higher level of care fits your situation better than weekly telehealth.
